I immediately returned the lock and re-ordered this one:

which is a real Schlage and ANSI Grade-I rated. As a bonus a re-enforced strike plate with long anchoring screws which extend into the door frame are included in the package.

THis is a piece of crap! Plus they didn't send a packing slip so it's going to take some work to return it.
