- All locks shall meet the new ansi/bhma a156.2, series 4000, grade 2 test requirements for key-in-lever locksets.

Hesitant to try to open the door? Trying to listen to see if someone is inside? Uncomfortable to knock? this solves the trick. We had to remove the door knob with the built in lock and replace with one that does not lock, to force use of this bolt. Also had to drill the door frame and a hole in the door for this. It was not an easy job, even for the professional I hired to do it. But it was totally worth it. We bought the one in brass. It is brass and effective. Looks really nice. It's also easier to slide into locked position than the small lock on the doorknob when you're going to use the bathroom, so it just makes a fact of life easier for everyone to negotiate in a small office setting.
